木を切る際に出る端材の形に合わせるように女性裸像を彫っていくシンプルな構成。古代、生命や豊穣の象徴として描かれたり作られていた豊満な女性像にならい、楽天的でポジティブな存在となるように作られている。
A simple composition that involves carving female nude figures to match the shapes of offcuts produced when cutting wood. Inspired by the ancient, voluptuous female figures that were depicted or created as symbols of life and fertility, these are crafted to be optimistic and positive presences.
